有冇朋友用過 wordpress 呢個軟件

我公司要用 , 想裝一個叫 article directory 既 plugin , 但我搞唔清個概念 , 請問 theme 係咪可以下載的 ? thanks

如果你公司個wordpress係在wordpress.org下載的，你大可用admin身份log in後，在dashboard度既plugins項add new, 然後在search度打article directory, 個plugin就會顯示出來，按install就OK喇，好簡單。不過裝唔裝到就要看compatibility而定，唔一定裝得到的！

另外，轉theme其實屬於appearance範疇，請在dashboard度既appearance項下選擇theme，然後search下有什麼theme你喜歡既，按install就OK用得，但裝完可能原本既items會走位，到時要自己customize了(dashboard->appearance->customize)!

再深入D既改外觀，就要用到CSS/CSS3，呢D應該屬advanced野，要你自己研究研究一下啦，我都只係識皮毛而已!

其實 theme 係 d 咩 , 同外觀有關還是用黎將唔同既內容分類 ?

咪就係同外觀有關囉。係web design術語裡，wordpress既theme等同style template，作用同say, MS Word提供既letter, fax, greeting card templates一樣樣，有了呢D templates, 你只需focus on內容，省卻自己設計網站外觀，內容擺位等既煩惱！但當然，如果你唔多like D template既部分格式（e.g.字體），絕對可以自己改的(e.g. 在原有theme之下加個child，有什麼你要既格式就係child內既style.css改，來蓋過原有theme之下style.css既有關格式)，不過呢D屬高級野，唔識就暫時唔好掂住！ 你舞熟wordpress D基本設定之後先慢慢研究!

Most WordPress themes provide:
- the overall design or style of your site
- font styling
- colors
- widget locations
- page layouts (or templates)

<---- 不是! Plugins不是用來改變外觀的，外觀係用Themes來改的!

wordpress既plugins你可以當係好似Firefox既plugins一樣，係用來增添功能的！

wordpress本身其實只是給你一個好basic既blog類型既website，得個殼，裡面要加多好多其他功能先似樣，而呢D額外功能，就要靠plugins了，例如emoticons，website backup，login redirect，article directory等等。plugins既出現，目的是免除你要自己寫programs既麻煩！如果冇咗plugins，下下要自己用PHP，javascript等電腦語言編寫網頁互動程式，真係會比死更難受，尤其你又唔係programmer，係咪?!

另想問下 , 一般公司內部使用 wordpress , 通常會用佢 d 咩功能 , 係咪都係 share document 為主 ? thanks
