本人英文極爛,但係深知MS高層係鬼佬,故此打英文信希望鬼佬都明我地打中文係幾痛苦
Windows 7OR XP user可能覺得唔關你地事,但係遲早有一日你地都會用windows 9 ,10,11,.....到時候出聲太遲啦

Subject:About Windows 8.1 preview new quick input method
Comments:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a Windows user. I had tried the windows 8.1 preview version for previous days. As you know that the old quick input method has been implemented in many Windows versions. I was accompanied with old quick input method when i was a child. That is perfect input method am i face. Now, i can't feel that in Windows 8.1 preview.
Firstly, the selection words in quick input method become horizontal arrangement. I understand that is accommodate small size of tablet resolution. However that is bad experience for desktop user with big screen. I believe Microsoft declare the vertical arrangement in the first place, because it more readable compare with selection words in a single line.
Secondly, the order of selection words has been changed. For experienced quick user, to type in single Chinese word like "我", in old quick input method the code is "h"+"i"+"7". That is not necessary for experienced user to read selection words( number "7"), who are memorize those order. So the experienced user can type in the word within second. Unfortunately, the order has been change in Windows 8.1. For type in "我", it may "h"+"i"+"X"(I am not remember), therefore the experienced user as a rookie to choice the selection word carefully. It waste mess of time. Chinese have thousands of words, it is hard to re-memorize the order for experienced user. Can you imagine that the keyboard layout of "A-Z" is out of order. It is hard to type in every single word.
In society many typist are using old quick input method as their "mother" input method. Many of computers are using Windows XP or any without new quick input method operation system. How can users change their habit in older OS?
Windows 8.1 is synonym of innovation. I believe Microsoft never forget old user. I hope Microsoft can retain the old setting. Let the user choose the best setting for him. Thanks & Regards.
