Just bought Win8 Pro upgrade

A shop called me during lunch and told me Win8 Pro upgrade arrived and selling at 549. Normally I don't upgrade immediately, but selling at 549....what the hell..... grabbed a copy after lunch.

Will have to wait till weekend for spare time to install the upgrade.....

I downloaded the beta version of Win8 and played around for 15min.....not used to the metro interface.....I don't think it does any good to destop PC (especially without touchscreen). And my friends don't like it too.

A software store at 2nd floor of Wanchai Computer City. According to retailers, Microsoft offers special introductory offer to first shipment of Win8 upgrade. (But special offer may last longer, said the salesman)

Based on comments from people I know who had played around with beta version. Stability is not an issue with Win8, and overall computer responses faster (window loads faster). However, removing the start button is really a decision not so smart.

Frankly speaking, I buy the upgrade only because it's on special offers. 549 for an upgrade, why not? I've no rush to switch to win8 immediately.

I haven't installed yet.....but I was told that Win 7 has to be installed in HD first.
