after installing your itunes,
in your iphone, go to 'setting' -> general -> network -> internet tethering -> on
and pair your iphone your computer...

What he means is known as wifi tethering, that is like turning your iphone into a wireless router.
Wifi tethering needs to install an app called MyWi which of course is jailbreak only app (Cydia App).
