First of all, we thanks for all the supporting and comments recently. Cyberdrive always stands on customer’s side to provide the best choices. We are sorry about the recent concerns on backers for the modification on PHA and also understand that the change on PHA brings some questions to you. With some expectations on the products, our team would like to share a summary about the PHA modification:
The PHA product was an immediate request during the campaign period. Previously, the development team built up the product specs on our self-research and paper document on the main components. The initial intention was to develop a product with both hardware & software applications with backers expectations, so the ES9018S was the option on PHA.
During the developing progress, the development team not only studied and researched with many popular-brand products on the market, but also consulted with both ESS sales & FAE (Field Application Engineer) for more professional ideas. Through lot of discussion and consideration, the team decided to switch the ES9018S*1 to ES9018K2M*2 (1 chip change to 2 chips)
Note: The mobile solution- studied on many Product Market Research with professional opinions by ESS sales VP/ ESS FAE.
to keep better performance and prevent some potential technical interference on the device. Compared to ES9018S, the ES9018K2M has the same “HuperstreamWe” technology, but specially designed for mobile use. We are confident that the minor change is the best solution and the PHA will perform well on the final spec-ES9018K2M*2.
We are really sorry about the minor modification did not announce immediately. We will work on better communication in the future. To show our sincerity, the team leader agreed that PHA purchaser will get 1 free DURA. However, backers who are not satisfied with the modification, Cyberdrive is willing to accept the cancellation request with full-refund on your PHA purchases. Only PHA purchases cancellation will have a full-refund because of the spec change. (Other products will maintain 90% refund.)
