Thanks for your constant update on your Nexus experience.   I got mine on Thursday but I have yet to open the Nexus box.  I only opened my DHL parcel to see what I received.  I got the Nexus one Charger and the Nexus One phone.   
I am waiting for the Invisible Shield to arrive and then I will open the Nexus One box and install the Invisible Shield first before using the phone.  Any luck finding the capdase screen protector?  They are the best.

For now I am busy with my Palm Pre and the bunch of 3D games I have received for the Palm Pre (Need for Speed, etc).   Palm Pre is currently the best phone I have used.  May be Nexus One will be better??????  Will probably find out next week.  

Keep us updated so that I can learn some things before I start using the Nexus One. :)

I know but I still think it is necessary.    It was not needed then it would not be on sale in the US.  

I always get a good quality screen protector and the invisible shield for every phone I get.  That is why all my phones are in excellent condition by the time I sell them.  Lol!!!

just got back from HTC, they will exchange another one for me but need to be delivered to the same address as previously shipped. if any ching found something wrong with their unit, it can be exchanged within 14days.

Wow... thanks for sharing this info. meanwhile,  I suggest you should write down the defective imei number, just in case to prove that HTC will not send you the same nexus after cleaning the dust.

call their customer rep first and they will arrange DHL to pick up from your location and exchange back with a new unit to the same address......
