The most important part is, how many hours you are going to spend on it?

You will need to setup the base OS, set a tmpfs for logs and tmp files (or mSD card is going to die at long run), setup network config, setup a dyndns, setup the USB Tuner, a too-chain to kick the tuner in correct freq, maybe UI, transcoding the dvb0 data on fly to some other format (If you are looking in real time streaming over WAN) you may wanna go for like ffserver / vlc and maybe if stream to iOS device segmenter for m3u8 segmentation etc etc.

I did mine really just for fun, using mumuDVB, with some dirty code / bash to do control over network, streaming locally of "as is" video data.

A Slingbox is $1xxx, well, they earned their price XD

just my 2 cents.

    我有2隻手指，1a5v應該apple都有，不過我缺少技術我以為osmc插手指就串到添。睇黎純粹貪過癮都係淘slingbox120加個機頂盒

Nah, sick of Android Tablets, I simply wants simple crontab, a SSH, some python+perl+nodejs+php and chromium on a good old *nix node.
