以前XP一直用免費嘅MSE,病毒定義更新到2015年7月14日,三日後就種蕉.
之後先買NOD32 internet security,上個月底到期.

我係VMh行winxp,  完全唔裝防毒，好似沒見過可見的不良後果，可能中左都唔知
(Host 行linux ubuntu, 如果winxp 中左毒，唔怕，因為有winxp vm copy 檔)

Chrome has been outdated for some time already
I dun use it becuz the GUI is pathetic (esp. as compared with the Mac version)
FF 52.x ESR is still the most current (if now newest) browser supported under XP

You're right, sometimes old machines with older OSes are necessary to maintain operation with certain old (but irreplaceable) software...
Many in the workplace understand this hassle, but most end users don't

I still use XP and have IE8, Safari (5.x) and FF (50.x) installed
IE8 now is a real hassle as many sites are not supported
Same thing as Safari
So far my primary (and only) browser is still FF (just like many years ago in the Netscape days)

You don't use AV software/firewall?
For the record NIS still works with current subscription

Installing MBAM also helps (if you valid lifetime key that is)

BTW system rollback (from images etc.) does not only apply to virus infections
Bugs and crashes from other programs (from prolonged use) may also require system rollback to restore system to stable state

其他大牌子應該都一樣
