It is normal for some Service make NAS never sleep, because have freq. HDD activity.
For my QNAP, it also sleep when HDD / LAN LED flash , no matter which firmware ver.
Just Service access, i.e. SMB, Syslog .... will wake it up.
Although sometime will wakeup with "unknow" reason, but I found it acceptable.
So, for green reason I only keep this 2 bay NAS power-on 24hrs and never run those Service which cause NAS can't sleep.

I don't think firmware can "fix" this and I haven't try XMail.

相信HDD LED 每幾秒閃一閃唔係firmware問題, install qmail 暫時無咁既問題, 相信係XMail問題

LAN LED閃就真係唔知點解, 試過不連wan port, 都係咁閃, 唔知佢忙d乜
