once you provide a 2 way solution ppl will ask for 4 way, or more drive bays, or more pcie, memory slots... and then you stuck with the main frame philosophy
But the problem is, how large is the customer base who need 24 cores in a single chassis?
Would they switch to cloud rendering service? Would they stack up multiple of 2U servers instead of tower system?
apple knows who they are clients are: editors, sound artist, photographer/ 2D artist whatever.
think of what they need, and think of how many of their apps can scale up to 24c 48t

    其實呢部野真係唔算貴, 一部 Dell workstation 差唔多 spec 都要 26k, 仲要係行 SATA HDD, 當然講擴充性就 Dell 嬴晒, 但係個 Case size 就差好遠.
