Their roadmap shows Zen APU in 2017. It is doubtful they have enough cash to last that long.

They actually have cash till 2019. 2019 is the date when their bonds expires. Whether they have cash to repay the bonds at that time is remaining to be seen. But 2017 should be fine. And, AnandTech/TechReport seem to like Carrizo. All AMD needs now is a well made APU laptops that has a good price/performance ratio.

AMD is better known in America & Europe than in Asia. But, you are right. AMD needs a product that can change public's view. May Zen be that product.
