Can i access password protected USB 2.5" hard disk connected to wifi router via android phone?does it ask for password when i browse the hard disk? any idea which brand of 2.5" USB hard disk to buy?

You can set the password on the Win7 when you through the cellphone access,
the easy way is use router Samber to connect to USB hard drive,

Most of the different brands of routers have own app to connecting with smartphone, and also can setup the password on the router.
