部printer的墨去得極快，
一月31日買，用到而家先print左<500 pages,
已經閃緊叫我換toner，容量遠低於聲稱的2500 pages..........
係咪部機有事，定我setting有錯呢？

之前部Canon用左一個sem都冇換過，Thesis都print左幾份了………

所以今次部Fuji Xerox快到我有d驚

我舊個部Canon LBP2900都係用跟機墨，雖然其間用量不大，但我都幾肯定近二千.....

    The replacement toners is very cheap. And you can't compare with inkjet, inkjet is always cheaper. But the quality of laser is much better and it's maintenance free. You don't even need to replace the drum for this SLED one (well, the true behind is that once the SLED drum is damaged,  you can't even repair it, you can only replace the whole machine)

The official one is going to cost ~$500. With its claimed capacity of ~2500 pages,
comparing with the current claimed 1000 pages toner, I expect the bought to print around 1250 pages before it has exhausted, that is, to be honest, can hardly be a good deal comparing to my Canon(also a laser printer).

From my experience, after switching to the aftermarket toner for my Canon, paper jamming started to arise and occurred very often........and in order to keep the superior print quality, probably I am sticking to the official toner cartridge.

You can just buy the compatible toner powder to refill the original toner cartridge that comes with your laser printer. You can most likely refill for a few more times and once you notice degradation of the printer output, it's time for a new ORIGINAL cartridge.  The problem with many aftermarket toner cartridges lies with the "recycled" plastic cartridge housing instead of the toner powder

Actually I heard of this but only on some foreign websites, didn't know it was also available in Hong Kong.

Just check for your Xerox, you need a new toner chip for every refill, both of which are dirt cheap on TaoBao anyway. Just search "p255dw" in Taobao and you'd find both. BTW, I'd avoid Xerox in view of the need for a new chip for every refill. Brother toner on the other hand just need a screwdriver

Sad, but regarding its quality and hopefully being close to its claimed capacity,
I am still willing to get genuine toners
