砌機1年多，無BT，存相同歌，
但係最近偶偶地，起初chkdsk 無 bad sectors,
用其他軟件睇，著黃燈話有個C5值高
用行多次Chkdsk加有就修復，行咗12小時而家都未行完
但係有幾句 Bad clusters 出現，隻HDD 係咪玩完？

C5 > 0 = 黃, 有機會壞軌 Bad Sector，下次再唔得就會用後備換(變05)，詳情請找舊文。
有保可以換，多數代理都會換。

T DT01 series is not reliable. Even you did not stress it, the avg life expectancy might still be short (less than 2 yrs or right after warranty expiry). Go for MG04/05 series if you do care about your data.

有保養就拿去換，如果沒就修復，如果吾怕麻煩，就係bad sector 果度介一個大小小的partition, 希望惡化都廷伸吾到。
(我隻250 g hard disk 2010年買，用左10年都沒bad sector, 保養方法，盡量吾震個主機)

Run 咗 26粒鍾, 行完chkdsk 多咗D bad sector
而家正情著 "紅" 不良, C5 同 05 都highlight咗
用緊隻 1T 2.5" 抄得幾多得幾多
諗住明日買隻 3.5 先, 有無Clone 方法可避開 D bad sector?
諗住Clone 完先攞去整

整支ubuntu live usb, 用dd, 可以ignore bad sector, google 下應該搵到Ｄ command

同期入的toshiba 3,4,6tb （all desktop model)
4,6tb已經瓜晒.
死淨隻3tb *1, 原本做cold backup, 之後放去部
1bay NAS 24*7.
利申：現用toshiba 4,6,8tb 企業版數隻, 部份24*7.
暫時未有乜問題.

昨晚用咗隻easeus to-do clone ,
Sata 接新HDD，2T (1.2Data)用咗9小時
開機順返但係就每次開機都有個disk Error log 係log event, c5同05就無問題，用完過easeus 多咗個"系統碟區"既drive
諗緊好無用其他Clone 多次？
不過以前用Ghost,2粒鐘内乜都整好，而家反而要咁耐

Don't chkdsk directly on HDD with bad sectors.... you risks losing lots of file...
The reason is under normal circumstances disk IO are read buffered, and a few failed bytes could cause up to MB of data unreadable.
Imagine what would happen if this happens on the meta data of filesystem (which may be common as it is modified most)
So it is very important to read under direct IO mode, to recover as many bytes as possible
To do so you can, e.g.:
- use ddrescue(free) , as suggested by another ching, to make a best copy (on another HDD, may cost $) as much as possible, and do chkdsk on the copy
- use HDD Regenerator ($) to read as many as possible and then rewrite it, the hdd will then use reserved sector to store the recovered data, and finally run a chkdsk
Option 1 is better because if chkdsk did very wrong you still have the original

屋企依家用緊隻T DT01ACA200,用左近2年,1271hours,平常用感覺好易過熱,嘈就唔好共振都OK
初時買呢個hard disk 時,一買返去都係用唔到過唔到smart test,後來七日內返去一換一才正常使用
依家最怕過保養就突然用唔到
畢竟唔係每日有備份
