我是linux新手, 我部舊notebook由WinXP轉左Lubuntu, 用左一星期左右, 又pigpig痕, 由Lubuntu轉做Crunchbang (聴講話輕快D喎), 但是, 裝左Crunchbang後, 部notebook仍然boot去Lubuntu (但Lubuntu已經洗左). 由XP轉去Lubuntu再轉去Crunchbang都係部notebook唯一OS, Lubuntu和Crunchbang都係用Grub loader.
請教各位師兄如何解決... 謝謝.

at the grub screen, go to the Crunchbag line, press "e" and then print it out here and let us see first.
OR
at grub screen, press "c" to enter the grub command-line, and enter command to reset the booting partition of Crunchbang by yourself.

Not about "install together", because Ubuntu will add Crunchbag and Windows entries to grub config during installation.
I don't see any benefit to have both crunchbag and lubuntu together installed in one PC for layman ...

雖然Lubuntu has replaced by Crunchbang, 但boot機第一個畫面一直停在loading Lubuntu的畫面,
即是畫面中間大大只字 "Lubuntu loading..........."
我並不是安雙系統, 而是一個replace另一個的, 當然install時有自動Gparted clean Harddisk的.

Reinstall番Lubuntu了, 一切安好.
Crunchbang及Archbang(都有試裝)真係完全唔係畀新手及End-user用...

if you want a fast system, gentoo and archlinux are the fastest system i have ever uesd. archlinux is quite easy to use when compare to gentoo.

唔建議樓主玩 gentoo, 新手玩 linux,
如果直去玩 gentoo, 會好快失去咗衝勁、熱誠,
太舊嘅 5~6 年 notebook, compile 個 system, world 出嚟,
都要大半日 or even longer
雖然冇玩過 arch, 感覺上 documation 會好啲

好似以前 arch 都係全 compile 㗎? gentoo 就一直冇 binary packages

no all gentoo base distro compile packages, e.g. sabayon can install binary packages.
you can compile your package in archlinux, they called it "abs"

gentoo 就一直都係咁,
最主要係 user define his/her own gcc flages compile the whole system,
不過而家建議用 stage 3 install,
冇咗/唔洗玩 bootstrap, 方便咗好多,
arch 好似係用咗 gentoo 嘅一啲 idea,
可以用 pre-compile packages or compile by hand,
詳情要玩過 arch 嘅 chings 講, 不過 doc 嚟講 arch 完勝,
因為幾年前 gentoo wiki 死咗, 好多高手 wiki 文冇人再貼翻。
不過除咗講 linux from scratch 果啲, gentoo 如果起得到,
用而家中等 4 core 機 8/16G ram, 普普通通咁用, 真係唔想起 M$ win

用咗10幾年 gentoo, 砌 USE flags 都幾好玩㗎
以前成日會用到先發現要開某 USE flag, 之後一行:emerge -uDN world
emerge depclean
revdep-rebuild
基本上就搞掂晒, 不過唔好彩嘅話, 要 emerge 好多個 ebuids~ 遇上 openoffice (而家變咗 libreoffice) 就要幾個鐘咁囉.
gentoo 就一直都係咁,
最主要係 user define his/her own gcc flages compile the whole system,

應該係Bootloader問題，Crunchbang冇重新裝過Bootloader
用Grub2既話，入返LiveCD，grub-install再grub-mkconfig就ok
不過樓主已經改返Lubuntu……遲左喇
我大半年前轉用Linux，用Arch，一路用到而家
Arch優點：自訂性高；軟件更新快；Document多（Arch Wiki）
缺點：冇Ubuntu等咁傻瓜，要識/學好多野；軟件更新太快，有時會有bug，尤其是Kernel，偶爾更新完開唔返機，要入LiveCD chroot去降級
但亦都係兩個缺點令我學識好多Linux知識，及養成備份系統同保留package cache既習慣

吹吓水, 唔好認真,
1. 恭喜 ching 加入 linux, 我估樓主係响 gpart 嗰 steps 出事, gpart 如冇記錯, 最後要 apply 先至得
2. 我而家仲係用 openoffice-bin, firefox-bin, virtualbox-bin 算, h/w 太屎
3. gentoo forum 有條新 thread, 有個 13 歲兄弟, 話要上 gentoo, 啲大佬都叫佢玩住 virtualbox/debian 先
4. 而家啲 h/w 我估用 Celeron G1620, 4G ram, 普普通通咁用, display driver 如果冇問題, 真係可以飛咁快
