Would any C Hing recommend a small, inexpensive (but still OK) mini ITX case for a student with little money?

Brand/model please.

Tt Core V1
(W x H x D) 260 x 276 x 316 mm

CM Elite 110
(W x H x D) 260 x 208 x 280 mm

CoolerMaster更mini。Tt高咗一個火牛位，仲長36mm。
問題係衰在火牛凸出。可以用一塊擋板縮入去。

火牛泰山壓頂，cpu散熱難，我就唔用喇

而家有足夠位俾人裝cpu hs，裝水冷亦得，走線應該都易咗，比elite110好得多吧

jchie, can you possibly share your temperatures (CPU, mobo, etc) in the Tt SD101, esp. the six disks in your 5.25" enclosure?

Motherboard is Asrock C2750D4i, temp. around 50 degree C as it employs only passive cooling
Hard-disk cage is Icydock MB996SP-6SB, temp. less than 40

The highly rated Asrock C2750D4i!

All mechanical 2.5" HDDs or SSDs? Do you use the 40mm fan in the MB996? 24/7? On hi or lo setting?

C2750D4i is a pretty good platform to run  ESXi.
The OS is booted from USB, VM stored on SSD, data stored on a 2TB HDD.

The fan on the M996 is quite noisy so I leave it off.

Does it mean six 2.5" HDDs are used? What sort of temperatures? Must be rather hot without the fan...
